Milestone: Specs for 150 LEED projects!
Kalin Associates has now prepared specifications for over 150 projects seeking LEED certification, including 10 Platinum projects.
Mark Kalin heads CSI Sustainable Facilities Practice Group
The Construction Specifications Institute has created a new Sustainable Facilities Practice Group in 2009 and plans presentations again at this year’s 2010 CSI Convention in Philadelphia. Mark Kalin is a member of CSI’s national technical committee, and is the first Chair of the practice group.
Specifiers Property Sets win first CSI EICI Award for Excellence!
Mark Kalin has been awarded the first Excellence in Construction Information Award from the Construction Specifications Institute at its 2010 Annual Meeting for "Specifiers Property Sets". From the jury: "There is no doubt that the expression of object properties is necessary for full realization of the BIM promise, and Kalin is to be commended for taking on this challenge."
